TMS-AIU Analog Interface Unit The optional TMS-AIU Analog Interface Unit provides 4-20 milliamp current-loop analog signals for each average temperature within the user-defined zones of the mapping plane. These signals are updated with each new temperature map, and may serve as control signals for a variety of applications, including:
- Sorbent Injector Control
- Grate Control (waste to energy units)
- Burner Control
The base model TMS-AIU provides eight (8) analog channels, and can be easily expanded to support sixteen (16) channels for each of two displays. |

Four dry contact alarms are provided for each display, and each alarm has a front panel indicator for visual notification
- Minimum temperature limit exceeded
- Maximum temperature limit exceeded
- Maximum time between maps exceeded
- Insufficient data to generate new map
The TMS-AIU consists of a 19-inch rack-mount chassis and one ISA bus Analog Expansion Card for each eight channels. The Analog Expansion Cards plug directly into the PC‘s ISA bus. Connecting cables are included. |
