Warranty Repair Service

SEI equipment (exclusive of computers, printers, and any special equipment supplied by other vendors with unique warranty requirements) is warranted for one (1) year from date of shipment. The warranty includes parts and labor for all defective items returned to SEI. Excluded are failures due to mishandling, misapplication, or abuse. Since all SEI equipment employs a modular design philosophy, most warranty repairs can be handled by module exchange. When notified of the problem, SEI can typically ship a replacement part, module, or subassembly within 24 hours. SEI requires defective materials to be returned to SEI within 30 days of shipment of an in-warranty exchange part. When module exchange is not practical or desired, equipment may be returned to SEI, freight prepaid, for repair or replacement. Upon repair, (typically within 5 working days) SEI shall return the equipment, freight prepaid. Periodic calibration, field adjustments, and on-site service are not covered under the warranty. Warranty repairs outside of the United States are typically performed directly by the local SEI authorized distributor.

Extended Warranty Option

Optional extended warranty coverage adds to your equipment's warranty repair and module exchange period in increments of one year. Contact SEI for details regarding extended warranty coverage for your system.
